Latest Update on the Commutation Scheme Sanction ChargePublished: 23 February 2024
As a result of the circular issued by the National Office of NARPO, (e-mailed to all NARPO members) which sets out the fact that some Forces were deducting a scheme sanction charge of 15% from commutation payments which breached the HMRC maximum limit, which they were not entitled to do, it became clear that Norfolk was one of those Forces.
